Our Grant Process
The Souris Valley United Way grant process is designed to empower local organizations by providing them with the necessary funding to address critical community needs. Our mission is to support initiatives that enhance the quality of life in Minot, North Dakota, as well as the rest of Ward county and surrounding counties of Bottineau, Burke, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, Renville. By fostering partnerships with local agencies, we aim to create a more equitable and inclusive community for all residents. Through our grants, we address essential needs such as food security, health, and education, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Grant Applications Open
Organizations can begin submitting their grant applications to Souris Valley United Way.

Grant Applications Close
The deadline for submitting grant applications. Ensure all materials are submitted by this date.
April 21
Community Impact Panel Begins
The Community Impact Panel convenes to review applications and engage with organizations.
April 23
Community Impact Panel Concludes
The panel wraps up its evaluations and provides recommendations to the SVUW board.

Funding Decisions Announced
The SVUW board announces the organizations selected to receive funding.
Feb. 2027
Funds Distributed
Allocated funds are distributed to the selected organizations to begin their impactful work.
